Eastman clerked for Luttig. Luttig is much revered and was perhaps the single most prominent conservative judge on the court of appeals. Eastman is a pipsqueak and rogue. Today is going to be like Luttig taking down Eastman’s pants and spanking him in front of the whole country.

Lots of Trump lawyers have had lots of bad days -- Giuliani license suspended, Powell under DOJ investigation for fraud, Ellis totally unmasked -- and hopefully there will be more to come. But I don't think any Trump lawyer has had as bad a day as John Eastman had today.
